MARINE SERVICE WRITER

We are seeking a skilled customer focused Marine Service Writer.  You’ll be the bridge between our clients and our skilled service technicians ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers, listen to their service needs, and provide clear explanations of repair processes.

Create detailed work orders, documenting customer concerns and service requests.

Coordinate service appointments, allocate resources and manage the service queue.

Provide accurate cost estimates, obtain approvals and process invoices.

Understand basic marine systems and terminology to effectively communicate with technicians.

Ensure clients are informed throughout the service process and leave satisfied.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Attention to detail.

A passion for boating and the water.

Proficiency in using service management software

Prior experience as a service writer or similar field is preferred.
